Stanley Omah Didia popularly known by his stage name Omah Lay, is a Nigerian singer, Songwriter and Stage performer. He was born on the May 19, 1997, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. OMAH LAY BIOGRAPHY – EARLY LIFE
As you may already know Omah Lay was born on the 19th of May, 1997. He hails from Egbeda Emohua, Rivers Local Government Area, Rivers State, Nigeria. He grew up in a Music inclined family so growing up he got all the sport that he needed growing up and mastering music.
His Secondary education was at comprehensive school in Rivers State and also attended The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) for his tertiary institution education.
As stated above, he grew up in a family who loved Music and we can say that growing up in such family, influenced him to pursue Music. This is all I have concerning his early life, we now go to his music career. Omah Lay was an underground artistes before he became the star he is today and i can tell you that Omah lay is one of the most loved musician in Nigeria, he is so cool and does his music he way. he has earned numerous recognition from other big artist.
Omah Lay was brought in to the time light after he released one of his most popular song Bad Influence which had powerful heart breaking lyrics and earned him numerous features from foreign artist. Omah Lay started his music career officially and fully in 2020, when he released his debut EP titled Get Layed which included the break out song, Bad Influence and hello brother.
On the 20th of November, 2020 Omah Lay released his second studio EP titled What Have We Done. The EP contained 5 tracks and the hit track titled Godly, reached Number one on the Apple Music Charts for Nigeria, topping the chart at the time of release. Followed by his debut studio Album titled Boy Alone on the 15th of July, 2022. The Album also had good tracks and was distributed by Sire and Keyqaad records Internationally and Domestically, respectively.
Omah Lay has worked with several colleagues In the Nigerian Music industry and beyond. Some of the Artistes he has worked with includes Wizkid, DJ Tunez, Ajebo Hustlers, Masterkraft, Adekunle Gold, Alpha P, Justin Bieber, Olamide, Gyakie, Bella Shmurda, Libianca and lots more.
